STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE 
CAKE:

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 c. milk
1 egg

STREUSEL:

1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 tbsp. firm butter

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix streusel until crumbly. Beat cake ingredients on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Spread half of the batter in greased pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Sprinkle with half streusel. Top with remaining batter; sprinkle with remaining streusel. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
