1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs; mix well. Add flour, salt, and cream of tartar; mix well. Roll into 1 inch balls and then roll in 1 teaspoon cinnamon - 2 tablespoons sugar mixture. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
