1 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Pour boiling water over oatmeal and butter. Let stand 20 minutes. Beat eggs; add sugar. Combine dry ingredients. Mix together and add vanilla.

Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
