MOM'S TATER TOT HOT DISH (GROUND
BEEF)
 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg
1 or 2 slices bread
A little milk
1 env. dry onion soup mix
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. (10 oz.) tater tots

Mix first four ingredients together. Spread mixture in bottom of 10 x 8 pan. Sprinkle dry soup mix on top. Spread mushroom soup on top of this. Top with tater tots.

Bake at 350 degrees until meat is firm, soup is bubbly and tater tots are brown.

The recipe was delicious, and I will definitely be making it again. I made some modifications - I substituted one small onion chopped for the dry onion mix. I did not have tater tots on hand, so I used 4 fried frozen hash brown patties and cut into small squares, then I sprinkled a little seasoning salt on top.
