CHERRY COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. butter
4 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 can cherry pie filling

Glaze:

2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar (enough to make glaze)

Cream butter and sugar together and beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and dry ingredients. Spread 3/4 batter in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with cherry pie filling. Dot rest of batter on top of filling.

Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Cool slightly and ice with glaze.
