OYSTER PUDDING CASSEROLE | |
6 slices bread 1 pt. oysters 3 tsp. salt Dash cayenne pepper 1 1/2 c. milk 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, chopped 3 eggs 1/2 tsp. mustard 1/4 tsp. paprika Place 3 slices bread in ungreased casserole. Cover with oysters. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt and the cayenne; cover with cheese. Repeat layers. Beat eggs slightly; add mustard, paprika, 1 teaspoon salt and milk. Pour over ingredients in casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 6. |
