NUT & JELLY COOKIES 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. Crisco
1 egg yolk
1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. slat

Mix all slowly in order. Beat egg white with spoon. Roll into small balls. Put in egg white then in nuts. Bake for 6 minutes at 375 degrees. Then put jelly in middle in small amounts.
