MEXICAN SALSA 
Saute in olive oil:

1 med. onion, chopped
1 lg. pepper, chopped
2 good size cloves garlic, minced

Add:

1 lg. can whole tomatoes, cut up (including juice)
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 to 2 tsp. chili powder - hot or mild
Louisiana hot sauce

Simmer until desired consistency.

If you use hot chili powder, hot sauce can be omitted if desired.
