SAVORY PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak, tenderized
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
1 3/4 c. water
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. beef flavored gravy base
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 lg. green pepper, cut in strips

Cut steak in strips. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Coat meat strips. In large skillet cook meat in hot oil until browned on all sides. Add tomatoes, cut up, including liquid, water, onions, garlic and gravy base to meat in skillet. Stir well. Add Worcestershire sauce and green peppers. Cover and simmer 1 1/4 hours. If necessary, thicken gravy with flour and cold mixture after meat is tender. Serve over hot rice or noodles. Makes 6 servings.
