PARMESAN ONION CANAPES 
1 c. butter
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 tbsp. milk
1 loaf sliced rye cocktail bread

Mix first 4 ingredients. Spread mixture over lightly toasted bread. Broil 4 inches from heat for 2 or 3 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Serve hot. Makes 36.
