PARMESAN ONION CANAPES 
1 c. mayonnaise (light works well too)
1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp. milk
1 loaf cocktail rye bread

Mix all ingredients, except bread. Lightly toast bread. Spread cheese mixture on bread. Place on baking sheets and broil 4 inches from flame until golden and bubbly. Makes 36.
