JEWELED CHEESE BALL | |
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese 1 c. pitted chopped dates 1/2 c. softened sweet butter 1 tbsp. brandy 1/2 c. toasted sliced almonds In large mixer bowl combine all ingredients except almonds. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well blended. Shape mixture into a large ball. Roll in toasted almonds. Cover and refrigerate. Remove from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving. Serve with assorted crackers. |
