PA. DUTCH SHOO-FLY PIE 
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. molasses
Little ginger, cinnamon and cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. hot water

Mix well together and pour hot into an unbaked pie shell.

CRUMBS:

1/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar

Mix all together. Combine and liquid in alternate layers with crumbs on bottom and top of pie. Bake 15 minutes at 450 degrees then 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
