SHOO FLY PIE 
1 c. flour
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 rounded tbsp. Crisco
1 c. molasses
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
9-inch unbaked pie crust

Mix flour, brown sugar, and Crisco; reserve 1/2 cup for top. To remaining crumbs add 1 cup molasses. Then 1 egg slightly beaten and 3/4 cup hot water. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to 1/4 cup hot water and promptly add and pour into pie crust. Put 1/2 cup crumbs over top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes - at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes; at 350 degrees for remaining time.
