BBQ MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut, rinsed
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 (1 lb.) can whole cranberries
1 c. BBQ sauce, your choice
1 c. water

Mix together the beef, eggs, bread crumbs and onion soup mix and make 8 to 10 meatballs. Arrange in a flat glass baking dish.

For the sauce, mix and bring to a boil the sauerkraut, brown sugar, cranberries, BBQ sauce and water. Pour over meatballs and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. This recipe doubles well; use 3 pounds of ground beef.
