CANNED BREAD 
2/3 c. Crisco
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs

Cream together and beat well. Add 1 of the following: 2 c. mashed banana 2 c. canned pumpkin 1 3/4 c. applesauce 1/4 c. raisins

Nuts may be added if desired by decreasing the amount of fruit by the amount of nuts. Stir well. Add: 3 1/3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix well. Wash and dry 8 wide mouth pint jars and grease well with Crisco. Fill jars 1/2 full of batter. Place jars in 325 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Boil rings and lids. Seal jars right out of oven. Will seal themselves.
