CHOCOLATE MALT PIE 
2 baked pie crusts
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cocoa
5 egg yolks, beaten

Bring milk to boil; add sugar, salt and butter. Boil 1 minute. Mix cocoa, flour well and egg yolks and enough water to whip to an even texture. Add small amount of milk mixture, then add to the rest of hot mixture and boil, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Pour into pie shells and top with meringue made from the 5 egg whites. Brown in oven.
