CABBAGE & ONION SALAD 
1 1/2 qt. shredded cabbage
2 lg. onions, shredded
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 c. salad oil
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Bring to boil sugar, vinegar, oil, salt, mustard, celery seed and pepper. Pour over cabbage and onions while hot. Do not stir. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
