CHERRY CRUNCH SQUARES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and flour; mix in vanilla. Blend well. Spread butter on greased cookie sheet with sides. Cut surface batter to make 28 squares (7 squares long and 4 across). Spoon filling onto each square. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cut in squares. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
