1 box yellow cake mix
1 lg. can crushed pineapple with juice
1 lg. box vanilla instant pudding
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 can coconut
1 c. nuts (optional)
1 c. sugar

Mix cake by directions. Pour into a 9x13 inch greased and floured pan. Bake.

While cake is baking, boil pineapple and 1 cup sugar for 2 minutes. Pour over cake as soon as removed from oven. Set aside and cool. Mix 1 package vanilla pudding by directions. Pour on top. Put Cool Whip on top. Put coconut on top, sprinkle nuts on top of coconut.
