SOUP BURGERS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. shortening
1 can vegetable soup
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 tsp. mustard
Dash of pepper
6 hamburger buns, split & toasted

Brown beef and cook onion in shortening until tender; add other ingredients. Cook 5 minutes. Serve on split buns.
