SOFT ROLLED SUGAR COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add sour cream, nutmeg, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and blend well. Chill 2 hours; roll dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut and sprinkle with sugar. Add raisins or jam to center. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
