SUGARLESS COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. corn syrup
2 eggs, well beaten
2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
3 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. peanuts, chopped

Cream shortening; gradually add syrup. Stir in beaten eggs. Sift flour, baking powder and salt; add peanuts to flour. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet. Bake at 350°F until golden brown.
