SIMPLE VEGETABLE SOUP 
2 pkgs. chicken broth
4 c. water
4 medium carrots, sliced
4 stalks celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 c. tomatoes, chopped
1 c. shredded cabbage
1 tsp. parsley
Salt to taste (optional)

Bring broth and water to a boil. Add raw vegetables and parsley. Simmer until vegetables are soft, about 1 hour.
