GLAZE PINEAPPLE BARS 
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. nuts
Vanilla glaze recipe follows

Sift flour, sugar, baking soda and salt into mixing bowl. Add pineapple, eggs and vanilla. Beat with electric mixer at medium speed about 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour batter into greased 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with coconut and nuts. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until tests done.

Cool in pan on rack. While still warm, pour Vanilla Glaze over bars. When cool, cut into bars.

GLAZE:

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. evaporated milk

Combine in a 2 quart saucepan; mix well. Cook until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat.
