YORKSHIRE PUDDING | |
2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 4 well beaten eggs 2 c. milk 1/4 c. drippings from meat Set oven at 450 degrees. Pour 1/4 cup drippings into 11x7x1/2 inch pan. Keep hot in oven. Combine eggs, milk, flour and salt in mixing bowl. Beat with electric mixer 1 1/2 minutes. Pour the mixture into hot pan. Bake in 450 degree oven for 30 minutes. Can also be made in two 9x9x2 inch pans. Divide drippings and flour mixture evenly between the two pans. Reduce heat to 400 degrees if you make it in two pans. Serve immediately with roast and plenty of gravy. |
