COUNTRY CHICKEN & BISCUITS | |
8 slices bacon, fried crisp & crumbled 2 1/2 c. cooked, cubed chicken 1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, cooked & drained 1 c. chopped tomatoes 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded cheese 1 can cream of chicken soup 3/4 c. milk 1 1/2 c. biscuit mix 1 can French fried onions Combine first 4 ingredients and 1 cup cheese; spread in greased 8 x 12 inch baking dish. Blend soup and milk; pour over chicken mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Combine biscuit mix with milk and 1/2 can onions. Mix thoroughly and drop by spoonfuls to form 6 biscuits. Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Top with remaining cheese and onions; bake for 2 to 3 minutes longer until brown. |
