MS. W.'S FAMOUS BAKED HASH BROWN
POTATOES
 
1 (2 lbs.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
1 stick butter
1/2 c. onion
8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 pt. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
Salt, garlic and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. cornflakes, crushed

Melt butter (save 1/2 for crushed cornflakes). Mix hash browns, 1/2 cup melted butter; onion, cheese, sour cream, and 1 can cream of chicken soup, salt, garlic and pepper.

Put in 9 x 12 pan. Mix cornflakes with the rest of butter. Sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours in uncovered pan. Maybe frozen. But, when baking frozen, add more time and but directly in oven from freezer.
