CARAMEL PECAN PIE 
36 Kraft caramels
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pecan pieces
Unbaked 9-inch crust

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt caramels and butter with water in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth.

Combine sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt. Add caramel mixture and mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Cool.
