CARAMEL PECAN PIE 
36 milk caramels
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. chopped pecans
1 deep dish pie shell, unbaked

In medium saucepan, melt caramels with water and butter, stirring until smooth; remove from heat. Combine sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla. Add to caramel sauce mixture well. Stir in nuts and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
