CARAMEL PECAN PIE 
Mix:

1 butter yellow cake mix

Reserve 2/3 cups cake mix for filling.

1 stick butter, melted
1 egg

Pat into 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

FILLING:

Reserved cake mix
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together and pour into crust. Sprinkle with 1 cup pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until set.
