POTATO POTTAGE 
2 tbsp. bacon grease
1 med. onion, diced
2-3 stalks celery
1 can chicken broth
1 tbsp. flour
4-5 carrots, sliced
6-8 potatoes, diced
Salt & pepper to taste
Milk

Saute celery and onion in bacon grease. Add flour, stir until grease is absorbed. Add broth, carrots and potatoes. Cover with milk. Simmer until vegetables are done, stirring frequently.
