MYSTERY PECAN PIE 
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
9 inch unbaked pie shell

TOPPING:

1/4 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs

In small bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, salt, egg and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Spread in the bottom of pie shell. Sprinkle with pecans.

In a small bowl combine topping ingredients. Blend well. Pour over pecans. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes until center is firm to touch. Cool. Can dollop with whipping cream with whole pecans on top if desired.
