1 unbaked pie shell
4 eggs
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
1 c. light or dark syrup

Mix well 1 egg, 1/3 cup sugar, cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/4 teaspoon salt. When mixed well, set aside. Slightly beat remaining 3 eggs, then add 1/4 cup sugar, syrup and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, mix well.
