THICKENED FRUIT SALAD | |
1 qt. sliced peaches 1 qt. pears, cut in chunks 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks 1 lb. seedless grapes 2 bananas, sliced Drain fruit and add water, if necessary to make 4 cups liquid. Add 1/3 cup clear jell, 3/4 cup sugar (or sweeten to taste). Cook and stir until thickened. Add 1/2 teaspoon orange Kool-Aid powder or 3 tablespoons orange Jello instead of Kool-Aid. Stir to blend well. Cool and pour over prepared fruit. Chill. |
