CRUNCHY CHERRY DESSERT -
MICROWAVE
 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix flour, brown sugar, oats, soda and salt. Cut in butter, blend until particles are small. Pat half of mixture into 8"x8"x2" glass baking dish.

Cover crumb layer evenly with pie filling. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over filling.

Microwave on high, uncovered for about 15 minutes. Rotate dish every 5 minutes. Serve warm or cold.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

Absolutely Delicious! I did not have a can of pie filling so I used some fresh blueberries, (smashed them) dried cranberries, applesauce, white sugar to taste, to make the equivelent amount of a can of pie filling. I also used a glass casserole dish because I did not have a glass pie pan. Again...Absolutely Delicious!!
