BANANA BARS | |
1 lg. ripe banana 1/2 c. butter, softened 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. each cinnamon and vanilla 1 egg 1 c. flour, stirred with 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 - 1/2 c. chopped nuts Beat banana, butter, sugars, and flavorings at high speed until well blended. Beat in egg. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Spread evenly in well greased 9 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until done. Cool completely. Cut into bars. |
