CARAMEL CAKE FILLING 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour

Mix and let come to a boil. Slowly add to 1/2 cup sugar which has been caramelized to light brown syrup. Take from fire and beat until creamy. Use an iron skillet to brown the 1/2 cup sugar.
