SAUERKRAUT RELISH 
1 lb. sauerkraut, drained but not rinsed
1 c. celery, chopped fine
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. onion, chopped fine
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
3/4 c. white sugar
1/3 c. salad oil
1/3 c. cider vinegar

Mix chopped vegetables with sauerkraut. Heat vinegar and add sugar on low heat until sugar is dissolved. Cool and pour over vegetables. Chill overnight.
