BASIC REFRIGERATOR ROLLS | |
1 pkg active dry yeast 1/4 c warm water 1 c scalded milk 1/4 c sugar 1/4 c shortening 1 heaping tsp salt 3 1/2 c flour 1.) Mix 1/4 c warm water and yeast together, stir. 2.) Mix until dissolved and let cool until warm. When warm, put in 1 1/2 c flour, beat. Add egg and beat. Add yeast water, beat. Slowly add rest of flour. When all is mixed together, place in a greased bowl, cover, and allow to rise in a warm place. 3.) Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Bake at 350°F until golden brown. |
