1 head lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
1 bag (bunch) fresh spinach, torn into bite-sized pieces
1 pkg. frozen green peas, partially thawed
1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
6 eggs, hard boiled & sliced

Additional, alternative or optional ingredients: Layers of sliced celery, onions, sliced beets (drain and place on very bottom of dish [bowl]), broccoli flowerets, shredded carrots, chopped green or black olives, peanuts and/or shredded Cheddar or Swiss cheese, or other vegetables or ingredients of your choice.

Layer ingredients in a large bowl. This salad makes a spectacular appearance if layered in a tall, clear glass bowl.

Completely cover salad with the frosting/dressing, sealing to edge of bowl. Make 24 hours ahead. Refrigerate until ready to use.

FROSTING/DRESSING:

1 pkg. HIDDEN VALLEY® Ranch original dry dressing mix
1 pt. sour cream
1 1/2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing

Mix frosting ingredients well and frost salad as directed.
