1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. oil (Wesson or similar)
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water

Mix dry ingredients into pan that cake is to be baked in. Make 3 holes in the flour-cocoa mixture. Add into each hole - one for oil, one for vinegar, one for vanilla. Pour water over all and stir with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
