ANGEL CAKE DESSERT 
1/4 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. unflavored gelatin
1 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. salt
1 angel food cake loaf is best
1 c. crushed pineapple
Cherries and nuts

Soften gelatin in orange juice. Set aside. Combine milk, flour, sugar, 3 beaten egg yolks, and salt. Cook to almost boil then add to gelatin mixture and let cool. Beat 3 egg whites and 3 tablespoons sugar until stiff. Add pineapple to gelatin mixture then egg whites. Let set overnight or several hours. Cut cake cross ways and spread filling between layers and over top. Put maraschino cherries and nuts on top and on sides. Keep refrigerated.
