10 qts. water
10 sm. pkgs. Kool-Aid
10 c. sugar
5 lg. cans unsweetened pineapple juice
5 (2 liter size) bottles ginger ale

Mix all ingredients except ginger ale and freeze. When you are ready to serve, chop punch relatively fine and add ginger ale. Serve slushy consistency. Mixture makes 5 gallon before adding ginger ale. Will serve approximately 125 people. (You can use any flavor Kool-Aid to get the desired color - Mountain Berry makes a deep burgundy like color.)

To make a smaller amount for a small reception you can use 2 quarts water, 2 packages Kool-Aid, etc. Pink Lemonade flavor makes a pretty punch for a shower or reception - or lemon and strawberry flavors real often for wedding receptions.
