BREAKFAST PIZZA | |
1 can refrigerator crescent rolls 1 c. sausage (cooked and well drained) 1 c. frozen hash brown potatoes 1 c. cheese 5 eggs 1/4 c. milk Salt and pepper Crescent rolls should be at room temperature. Press rolls with fingers onto a pizza or jelly roll pan. Layer top of dough with sausage, potatoes and cheese. Beat eggs with milk. Place pan on oven rack and pour on egg mixture, tilting pan to evenly distribute mixture. Bake t 375-400 degrees for 30 minutes. Pizza may bubble but it will settle when it cools. Check often not to burn. Best if potatoes are slightly thawed or zapped in the microwave. I use Mozzarella and/or cheddar cheese (1/2 and 1/2). I'm told it is also very good with Velveeta. Your imagination is unlimited in adding other ingredients - mushrooms, green peppers, green onions, ham, etc. Great for Brunch or sleep-over parties. |
