SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lb. lean beef
1 lb. ground pork or mild sausage
1 onion, minced to death
2 eggs
2 c. bread crumbs
3/4 c. half & half
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dill
Pepper to taste
Oil for frying
2 tbsp. flour
2 1/2 c. half & half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. paprika

Mix beef, pork, onion, eggs, crumbs, half & half, nutmeg, salt and dill. Form into 1-inch balls. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in skillet. Fry balls, turning constantly until cooked through. Season generously with ground pepper. Drain grease from pan. Flour pan bottom. Add salt, nutmeg, paprika. Stir in half & half. Stir until thick. Pour over balls. Serve with lingonberry preserves.
