MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
1 1/3 c. popcorn, popped
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 stick butter
1/4 c. light Karo syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Pour popped corn into large, brown grocery bag. In a one quart or larger microwave bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt. Microwave on high until mixture boils and boil 2 minutes. Add vanilla and soda, mixing well. Pour mixture over popcorn in bag and fold down top of bag. Shake well. Microwave on high 4 minutes, shaking well after each minute.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
