MINCEMEAT (OVER 100 YEARS OLD) 
1 peck green tomatoes, chopped
44 green apples
4 lbs. brown sugar
4 lbs. raisins
1 c. vinegar
1-2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. cloves
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg

Cook tomatoes until soft and drain off juice. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook until apples are soft. Put in jars while hot and seal. Makes 8 quarts.
