QUICK, RICH, MOIST COFFEE CAKE 
2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
Milk (enough to make 1 c.)
1 tsp. vanilla
Honey Bee Glaze

Preheat oven to 350°F. Have all ingredients to about 75°F. Sift flour, sugar, powder and salt together. Cut in the butter. Break egg into a measuring cup. Fill with milk. Beat and add to the dry ingredients with the vanilla. Pour batter into a greased pan and over with honey bee glaze.

Bake about 25 minutes.

Honey Bee Glaze:

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. honey
1/2 c. crushed nut meats

Stir and bring all ingredients to a boiling point over low heat. Spread these ingredients on coffee cakes that are ready to be baked.
