1 c. uncooked rice (wash & drain)
1 c. canned whole kernel corn, drained
Sprinkle with salt & pepper

Pour over...

1 can Hunts tomato sauce
1/2 can water

Add:

1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper

Spread over this layer of 3/4-1 pound ground beef. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Add:

1 can Hunts tomato sauce
1/4 can water

Cover this with:

4-6 strips bacon, cut in half

Cover casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake another 1/2 hour until bacon is crisp.
